Open Studio Sessions: 

These afterschool & weekend classes run throughout the year on a bring-your-own-supplies model, focusing on 2D drawing and acrylic painting, with room for student exploration. Students may bring their own references and choose their own subject matter. Kayla is there to offer guidance, share techniques, and assist when students get stuck, as much as needed to work through each piece. Over time, students build their problem-solving skills, confidence and independence as artists.  When booking Open Studio classes, you may book individually, or choose one of the tiered subscription packages. Classes are offered Mondays, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, and you may schedule and reschedule as needed around your busy life through the online booking system! 

Specialty Workshops

Kayla also offers workshops during school breaks (by availability) with options for all students ages 8+, which run on an all-materials included, and first-come-first-serve basis. Past workshops include: needle felting, plaster sculpture, air-dry clay, printmaking, anime drawing, charcoal drawing, pet portraits, colored pencils.
